After having worked in the corporate world of data marketing, I decided that I needed to do something that was more fulfilling and I’ve never looked back! It’s not all about being paid to cuddle cats – although of course this is the best part of what we do – we truly do care for your cats as if they were our own. I’m currently “Mum” to Smudge and Moppet, two rescue kitties who have come back to England with me from Australia.

I am so proud of the work that we do and it’s all made possible by my team who are passionate about providing the best care possible. We often have team drinks and meals as we do feel like one big family – an atmosphere which is really important for what we do.

Kasia, cat sitter, Cat's Whiskers

Office manager

I joined Cat's Whiskers as a sitter in December 2018 and am now running the Cat’s Whiskers office - cats have been my family members since I was a kid. The picture to the right is me with my big love - Sabina. I love that every cat has their own personality (just like people) and I adore whisker kisses!

This job is not a job really - meeting new cats and learning their characters is such pleasure. My love for animals is the reason why I became a vegetarian. I am also a big fan of books and pilates and have worked as a freelance Visual Merchandiser in retail for fifteen years.

I’ve been with Cat’s Whiskers since July 2014.

I currently have just one cat, Rosso, who is a 5 year-old Maine Coon. I recently lost my Russian Blue boy Mika so plan to get another when the time is right!

I love this job because I’m cat mad!!! I enjoy meeting, caring and getting to know my clients’ cats, building trust and ensuring they are well cared for and loved in the absence of their owners. I consider myself very good at reading their body language having taken various courses in cat behaviour/language.

I am also a freelance Graphic Designer who has worked in publishing industry for over 35 years.

I joined the Cat’s Whiskers team full time in August 2019 after finishing a 3 year Art course and a nail tech course at college.

I love animals and spending time with them. I’ve lived with cats nearly all my life and don’t know life without them!

I currently have 4 cats, mother and daughter Sophie and Mindy. And rescue cats Coco and Pops. They are literally my family.

Amie, cat sitter, Cat's Whiskers London

Amie (full time)

Areas covered:
Finsbury Park, Barnsbury, Canonbury, Holloway, Caledonian Road

I joined the Cat’s Whiskers team as a seasonal sitter in July 2019 and became a full time sitter in August. I went straight into work from college and I used to be a bartender until I found this job, which I love! I look after cats anyway so I figured why not do it for a living?

I've grown up around cats my whole life, I can't remember a time where I didn’t have at least one cat in my house. I currently have one cat and his name is Socks. I love this job because I love meeting all these different cats that have such different personalities and I love looking after every cat like they're one of my own.

Claudia, cat sitter, Cat's Whiskers

Claudia (part time)

Areas covered:
Barnsbury, Canonbury, Holloway, Caledonian Road

I started working part-time for Cat’s Whiskers in August 2018, and have loved being part of a team that shares the same passion for animals as I do!

I previously did my studies in animal care, and as a result completed my level 2 diploma in animal welfare. I have also had years of experience caring for my 10 year old baby Pepper, she has given me plenty of training in dealing with all things cats :)

I am currently doing a degree in journalism and hope to incorporate both passions in the near future.

Cats have always been an important part of my life. Having housed many feline friends from a young age, I can hardly imagine living without their ever-humorous, often inconsiderate, but utterly comforting presence. Currently the family cats are: Timmy the greedy chops; Maybelline the drama queen; and Lennie (pictured with me here) who really doesn’t know up from down.

I joined Cat’s Whiskers part-time in August 2018 and love the work so much! I am hoping to study Veterinary Medicine in the coming years so while this job is wonderfully enjoyable it is also excellent work experience.

I can’t wait to meet some new furry pals and also reignite old friendships!
