Our in-home cat sitting service is a welfare-friendly alternative to a traditional cattery. Leave your feline friends in the comfort of their own home while you go away, we will ensure they receive VIP care and dedicated attention.

  • Our guarantee is that with Cat’s Whiskers you will always deal with a person and not an automised booking system. All your requests and concerns are individually responded to by our friendly office team. We pride ourselves on our quick and direct communication.

    Dottie, the business owner, often meets new clients for an in-person introduction. This is a chance to detail any unique requirements for cat and home and has allowed us to build rapport with our clientele.

    Many of our clients have been with us for over 10 years, and some have even joined the team!

    Dottie personally recruits all team members. Our vetted sitters, who either own cats themselves or are experienced in cat husbandry, go through a three-stage interview process. This is followed by a fortnight of training to ensure care is delivered at a high standard and your home is kept secure. 

    Cat’s Whiskers is covered by Pet Business Insurance which includes cover for Public/Products liability, Care Custody and Control as well as Non-negligence.

  • Your cat’s welfare and safety is our main priority. Years of experience together with qualifications in animal biology and husbandry equips us to pick up on physical and behavioural changes in your furry friends. We will be in contact immediately should a problem arise.  

    While it may seem daunting for your cats to be without constant supervision, we believe keeping them in their familiar surroundings and as close to their routine as possible mitigates the stress of your disappearance far better than moving them into a cattery.

How it works

Each visit lasts up to 30 minutes (although you can book a double visit if required!). We will see to food and litter needs and are also able to administer medication. The focus of each visit is to give as much cuddles and playtime as possible.

We will also send you lots of pictures and daily messages so that you can follow your kitties adventures while you are away, and for your peace of mind. Home security is paramount and we are happy to close curtains, attend to lights etc.. Let us know if you have any specific requests.

Each visit costs £19.50 and we also have a range of other services.
